Australian Greens party leader BOB BROWN says if the Greens can .. they will make sure
that gas from the Greater Sunrise field will be pumped to East Timor for processing ..

once operations start.

A consortium .. led by Woodside Petroleum .. wants to process the gas on a floating
platform .. but Senator BROWN says the big corporation wants East Timor's wealth .. but
give nothing.

East Timor wants the gas processing to create jobs and wealth .. but Northern Territory
politicians and business groups say a world-first floating processing platform would boost
the Top End economy.

He also repeated earlier comments that the Greens would reject any proposal to open
an asylum seeker processing facility in East Timor.
