FAD MOTOR SEEMS TO RUN ON U.S. FUEL.(LIFE & LEISURE)

Buried in Andrew Muscaro's Glastonbury, Conn., cellar is an impressive collection of had-to-have-it toys that were wonderful for a few weeks and then disappeared into a series of beat-up cardboard boxes.

Muscaro, now 13, has held on to most of those items, if for no other reason than nostalgia's sake. The litany includes the beefcake Thundercats and their weapons, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, including April O'Neil, the green guys' television journalist/sidekick and one of the first female action figures.

``I had to have all of them,'' says Muscaro, who has long since left the action-figure realm. …
